VOICE Albert O. Hirschman Preis 2026

Die Ausschreibung für den VOICE Albert O. Hirschman Preis 2026 läuft noch bis zum 5. Juli. Der mit insgesamt 15.000 Euro dotierte Preis für Einmischung, Widerspruch und Erneuerung demokratischer Kultur setzt ein Zeichen gegen Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung; ausgezeichnet werden Beiträge oder Projekte aus dem Jahr 2025, die die demokratische Entwicklung fördern. Bewerbungen oder Vorschläge können bis zum 5. Juli 2026 auf deutsch oder englisch eingereicht werden.  
Die feierliche Preisverleihung ist für November 2026 in Berlin im tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg geplant. 

Stiftung Kommunikationsaufbau is announcing the call for the VOICE Albert O. Hirschman Prize 2026. The prize, worth 15,000 euros, takes a stand against discrimination and exclusion and supports projects or initiatives that promote the participation of disadvantaged groups, encounter political disillusionment and confront populism. We are seeking projects and contributions from 2025 aimed at promoting and encouraging democracy, dialogue, and civic participation.

Applications or proposals can be entered in German or English until 5th July 2026.

The awards ceremony will be held in November in Berlin.

2024: Das Medienhaus CORRECTIV, die Initiative Antisemitismus und Rassismus gemeinsam bekämpfen, der Verein RomaniPhen e.V. und das Projekt Watch The Med – Alarmphone. 

Teilnahmebedingungen / Terms & Conditions 2026 
Prämiert werden Beiträge oder Projekte aus dem Jahr 2025 zur Förderung und Ausweitung von Demokratie, Dialog und Teilhabe. Dies kann unter anderem ein Artikel, eine Publikation, eine öffentliche Veranstaltung, ein Podcast, eine Intervention oder eine Kampagne sein. Es sollte eine öffentliche Wirkung davon ausgehen. 
Einsendeschluss ist der 5. Juli 2026. 

The awards recognise contributions or projects by individuals, groups or initiatives from 2025 that promote and expand democracy, dialogue and participation. These may include, for example, an article, a publication, a public event, a podcast, an intervention or a campaign. The work should have a public impact. Applications and proposals are possible.
The deadline for submissions is 5 July 2026.
